I have about 6-7000 ' of Bermuda and I keep it about 3/4 to 1 inch high. I also mow it every 5 days so it is somewhat of a breeze. So, when you push the mower you are not only pushing the mower you are pushing the mower that turns the wheels, that turns the reel (blades).
